Keeping Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management alumni up to date on the many activities and accomplishments of its students and alumni is critically important in building strong connections between the school and its graduates.
Tim Newton, Krannert School of Management’s Director of External Relations, recognizes the importance of creating a publication that is informative and professional. The Krannert Magazine is mailed each fall to over 42,000 Krannert alumni, business school deans worldwide, and Purdue executives.
In working with Lafayette Printing to print this publication, Tim states, “I’ve always found the staff at Lafayette Printing both professional and accommodating. They know their business, and they take great pride in producing the best possible print pieces.”
Krannert Grads Love To Help
Both Dave Sattler and Terry Lucterhand, Lafayette Printing co-owners, are Krannert graduates and enjoy the opportunity to work with Tim and the Purdue Marketing & Media group to produce the magazine. Using a 4 color process throughout with a glass gloss coating on the cover and high white stock, the end result makes a lasting impression on each reader. This print job was also required to be FSC certified meaning that all products used are from recycled materials or produced in an ecologically sustainable manner.
Local Service Makes Things Easier
Being located in downtown Lafayette allows Lafayette Printing to work very closely with Purdue. Newton remarked, “Having a printer right in our backyard is both convenient and comforting. It’s great to know that any challenges can be met quickly, and I always feel a sense of security when I work with LPC. Although no last minute changes were needed on this project, I have had success in the past getting that “must-have” late change made with no concerns or difficulties. LPC has been willing to go the extra mile to meet my requests, and I appreciate their flexibility.”
