Celebrating Over 90 Years of Serving Greater Lafayette

Lafayette Printing Company

HOME FOR OVER 90 YEARS --- 511 FERRY ST

Opening the Doors in 1921
It was 1921 when William F. Sattler first opened the doors of Lafayette Printing at 511 Ferry Street. While much has changed in the printing industry over the past 90+ years, Lafayette Printing from its original location continues to provide Greater Lafayette with high quality printing services for its many Central Indiana area customers.

Great Community, Wonderful People
Dave Sattler, the grandson of Lafayette Printing’s founder, remarked, “We have been fortunate to be part of such a great community and to have had the opportunity to serve so many wonderful customers. We also couldn’t have accomplished what we have without the dedicated employees that have been part of Lafayette Printing over these many years.”

Looking Toward the Next 90+ Years
As printing technology has changed so has Lafayette Printing. The days of setting type are long gone . . . replaced by digital printing technology that has shortened the time to complete a job and improved print quality. We also now handle larger and more complex printing projects with today’s offset presses and wide format graphic imagining equipment.

A Bright Future on Ferry Street
“The next 90 years will bring more change as technology and our customer’s needs evolve. With our recent merger with Modern Graphics, we look forward to offering new products and services to a larger customer base. All of us at Lafayette Printing are looking forward to a bright future at 511 Ferry Street,” commented Sattler.
